Why Greg?
Coaching is a collaboration. As client you need to trust the capacity and integrity of your coach. Here are a few things to know about me:
I bring extensive leadership experience across many contexts in the U.S. and abroad: for profit in multiple industries (including transportation, manufacturing, construction, & property management), and non-profit, volunteer, religious, and educational settings.
I’ve successfully managed projects, opened a new manufacturing plant and brought it to full production, led organizational changes, developed an HR office from scratch, taught English abroad, and published my own books. I’ve done an extensive amount of leadership development for individuals and groups.
A coach doesn’t need to be an expert in your context - you’re the expert! However, my broad experience offers a deep well of questions to draw from.
I lead from values. At the heart of these, I believe in the dignity of every human being. In addition, I believe in:
Integrity
Respect
Curiosity
Generosity
I am good at seeing to the center of things, and able to ask challenging questions in a way that allows people to be honest.
I take this work seriously, so I am currently on the pathway to receive my ACC accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics.
